I worked with Shiying Li and other faculty at UNL to develop the SPARK data science camp, a one week summer camp for high school students on the mathematics of data science. Under the guidance of Shiying, I created slides, worksheets, and coding exercises for the students. These materials were then refined by the camp’s committee, which I served on for one year. In June 2026, I led the SPARK camp and taught 13 students about data science.
